About PrivForge

PrivForge is a collection of free online tools that run entirely in your browser. We believe that simple tasks like formatting JSON, compressing an image, or generating a QR code shouldn't require uploading your files to someone else's server.

How It Works

Every tool on PrivForge uses client-side JavaScript and WebAssembly to process your data directly on your device. When you format JSON, compress a PDF, or convert an image — nothing leaves your browser. There is no server processing, no file uploads, no temporary storage.

Why We Built This

Most online tool sites upload your files to their servers for processing. That means your confidential documents, private images, and sensitive data pass through infrastructure you don't control. We think there's a better way.

Modern browsers are powerful enough to handle complex file processing locally. Technologies like WebAssembly let us run tools like FFmpeg and Tesseract OCR right in your browser tab, with performance that rivals native apps.

Is My Data Secure?

Yes, absolutely. Every tool on PrivForge runs 100% in your browser. Your files, text, images, and any other data you process are never sent to any server. We use JavaScript and WebAssembly to handle all processing locally on your device. We have no ability to see, access, or store your data.

Can I Use These Tools Offline?

Yes! Once a tool page is loaded in your browser, it works entirely offline. You can bookmark any tool and use it without an internet connection. We're also working on a PWA version for even better offline support.
